I have asked several questions about positive ways to help my son with emotional issues. Most of the men who respond immediatly say "spank or beat" him. I have to admit that some men out there are civilized and have had great ideas but that has only been a handful.

I was spanked as a child and I do use it in my home for severe problems but it is not the first line of punishment and it works the least for everyday issues.

As a woman I will never understand men but this really opened my eyes and I wonder how their kids are if that is the "go to" attitude. If you are a guy is this your line of thought too? As women is this what you have noticed also? Comments?
Very few men have given advice on how to help just spank. I was really looking for a man’s point of view since they react diffrently and think differntly. YES I did stereotype men but I ALSO said some had GREAT ideas. Those men out there who can see past hit or spank first get a gold star today!!
