Why is it that the parents with the worst behavior kids have think they are angels?

by admin

Im talking like, parents that are all the time, Jonny is perfect, does nothing wrong. And even when the kid does horrible things right in front of them, they still do nothing and think they are perfect. These kids just get away with everything and are Satan’s Spawns!!! Why is this??
It’s easier to act oblivious and ignorant than take responsibility for your child and discipline them.

  1. you can't be explained this, unless you become a parent.

  3. All parents think their children are perfect(most of the time). However, most parents have enough sense not to turn a blind eye to their children when they aren't behaving perfectly!! Sometimes, it's about the parent being too lazy to discipline their child!!

  4. I have noticed that too. I don't really understand it. Those people are in serious denial and I guess they don't realize that if you really love your children you set limits and discipline them. It is those same people that years later say "What went wrong?"or "What did I do wrong?" or they blame others.

  5. You just answered your own question!(well, sort of) Parents that have really spoiled badly behaved kids allow the children to do anything and call them *angels* no matter what…so the kids end up thinking they are little angels and do even more bad things for attention and because they think they are cute… The parents treat them as if they are "cute" every time they do something bad…And maybe they have parents that are too busy working(and rich) to pay attention to their kids. Also, chances are the parents of kids like that were spoiled by their parents; and they just don't know any other way… And the cycle just goes on and on…until someone down the line finally realizes they are wrong and stops the cycle from continuing… I am 17 and have 7 younger siblings, so I'm really expirienced with all this! lol…

  8. 2 choices either the parents is oblivious and doesn't care or they need some phone numbers for parenting classes. Example, in store a child was just screaming his lungs out and finally one person said, in my day we'd discipline that child. Cashier was thankful and said due to store policy she couldn't say her opinion. The time outs, etc… just don't always cut it. Now wait till your father (or mother) get's home used to mean something.

  10. Its DENIAL pure and sinple. If you acknowledge that you have children who misbehave, then you are not the ideal parent. (Leave it to beaver, My three sons, Cosby Showe, etc. etc.

Reality is that most kids have the potential to be great. They just need discipline. But in today's society most parents are afraid to discipline thier children because Society says time outs work and you should not spank your child…..That is child abuse…..blah blah blah……

Spank the kids and they will know structure and act accordingly…..

  12. they just are over confident and over proud of their kids and they are just too cocky and too arrogant to believe that their kids are undisciplined.
