Does Weather Really Effect Childrens Behavior????

Yes it sure does. When it’s hot they’re cranky, when it’s raining they’re cranky. In hot weather make them drink plenty of water and it should help.

People say it does. But it hasn't been proven yet.

I suppose every child is different, it may affect some.

It always had an affect on me and my brother and sister and it seems to affect my children. It isn't really the weather though. It's being kept inside when they want to be out and the actions/tension of the adults present that cause the change in behavior.

No scientific experiments have been done relating to weather and children's behavior. However, studies have shown that as heat increases, people become more easily aroused, rash, irritated, and aggressive. Thus, in hotter weather, kids will perhaps be more trouble than in cooler weather. The effect, though significant in the studies on heat and behavior, should not be that great though. It will mostly depend on the kid and his/her environment.

Weather affects everyone's behavior. Could result in good or not so good effects.

    It does!

High temperature and humidity slows mental responses, causes laziness, acting out, and aggression.

Some children are strongly affected by the barometer pressure. Right before it rains, blood flow changes in the body. Children can get very loud, and "run a muck."

When it's very cold, children usually cry more, or seem a bit depressed. They can't play outside much and seem more lethargic.

IF you ask me, yes. I am a mom of a 2 year old and i teach preschool. My class is two and three year olds. whenever the weather changes, their behavior changes. but that might be because when it rains or is too hot we cannot take them outside

I have a day care in my home and I would say yes. When it is rainy and we can't get outside you would think every single parent pumped their kid full of sugar and caffeine before they headed over to my house.
